Accommodation
We want your time at CELC to be happy and beneficial, and your accommodation is as important as the time you spend at school.
Home stay
Being in a home stay provides a good support environment, offers you the opportunity to really experience British life and culture, and gives you with lots of extra opportunities to practise your English!
We choose our hosts carefully to give you a warm welcome; most are Christians.
Rooms
You can choose a single room or a shared room with another student of the same sex. We do not put students with the same first language together unless the students request it.
Meals
Your hosts will provide breakfast and evening meals Monday to Friday, and 3 meals a day at weekends. We can also cater for special diets; please tell us about any needs or allergies when you complete your application form.
Laundry
Your hosts will provide and wash all bed linen. They may also wash some of your personal laundry.
Transport
All our hosts are a single bus ride away from the school and some are within walking distance. It is also quite easy to cycle to school and many students buy secondhand bikes while they are here.
Prices
Your accommodation is available from the Sunday before your course starts until the Saturday after it finishes.
